Job Summary

About the Role:

This role is responsible for leading and managing EPC machinery and plant engineering project sites ensuring successful delivery in terms of cost quality schedule and safety. The position oversees all on-site activities including installation commissioning start-up resource planning and coordination with project teams and subcontractors. It drives proactive site management cost optimization risk mitigation and compliance with company procedures and site management standards. The role serves as the primary point of contact for customers contractors engineers and authorities handling communications negotiations changes and claims. Additionally it ensures accurate reporting documentation team leadership and the successful achievement of project objectives from site mobilization through final acceptance.

Your Responsibilities:

• Full project- entity or sub-project site management for EPC machinery & plant engineering projects including management of onsite related commercial & technical interfaces
• Site Management of key project factors in cost - in spec - in time risk & resources - while ensuring customer-orientation to achieve the project goals
• Full application of site management guideline sample documents protocols and procedures
• Proactive site management for schedule activity staff tools vehicle a.o. planning coordination & communication to meet schedules & budgets while maintaining optimal quality
• Cost management: Optimization of activity-installation-commissioning-operation costs and profitability for site activity related purchase and resource
• Availability and ownership according to project timelines and needs
• Regular preparation of i.e. site activity/progress reports i with established guidelines
• Organization and full lead of project-site team sub-site managers & supervisors-covering all personnel interfaces for site infrastructure preparation delivery reception installation commissioning and start-up on-site activitiesin collaboration with project management
• Transparent controlled execution & documentation of site management administration tasks interfaces to all on site active parties troubleshooting and lessons learned information
• Direct communication & negotiation with customers staff engineers and authorities regarding all site relevant matters such as engineering information costs schedules scope and terms & conditions trainings support of project managers in information supply
• Proactively driving decisions and providing approvals within the project/site management scope in accordance with company policies and project-specific guidelines
• Negotiations within and outside the contractual scope e.g. schedules proactive handling of change requests claims and modifications in collaboration with project management
• Generate technical & organizational site management specification for sub-supplier scope
• Initiating tracking and ensuring the documentation of meeting minutes open-point lists (LOPs) and milestone records (e.g. all site protocols TOC Final Acceptance completion of works etc.

Your Profile:

• Technician or technical qualification University degree (e.g. Technical University or - Applied Sciences) in Mechanical Engineering Process/industrial Engineering or equivalent qualification
• Several years (10) of proven successful site management experience for mechanical & plant engineering EPC projects
• In depth knowledge and proven experience in project management installation commissioning activities managing subcontractors
• Experience in handling customer interactions claims contract changes and negotiations
• Ability to lead multicultural and multidisciplinary teams in an international environment strong stakeholder management

• Excellent English skills (mandatory) and strong communication abilities in French and/or Arabic

• IT skills (MS Office MS Project)
• Organizational assertiveness and planning skills; cost awareness
• Willingness for long term stays abroad for various project-site requirements & missions

• Social competencies (soft skills): Ability to effectively apply social linguistic/communicative and leadership skills in intercultural environments and for diverse mindsets
• High level of ownership reliability and a hands-on mindset (solution-orientation)
• Resilience to manage multiple priorities
