Main responsibilities and activitie

• Computer systems administration
• Install, configure and administer physical and virtual servers.
• Administer Windows Server and/or Linux operating systems.
• Manage user accounts, groups, access rights and security policies.
• Administer directory services, including Active Directory, when this technology is used.
• Ensure the updates of systems and applications.
• Supervise IT resources and anticipate capacity needs.
• To ensure preventive and corrective maintenance of the infrastructure.
• Network and connection administration
• Install, configure and administer network equipment: switches, routers, firewalls and Wi-Fi access points.
• Ensure the operation of local area networks (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN).
• Administer VLANs, routing, DHCP, DNS and filtering rules.
• Monitor internet connections and links between the four centers.
• Set up secure VPNs between sites as needed.
• Diagnose and resolve incidents related to network connectivity and performance.
• Coordinate with telecom operators the handling of incidents and the restoration of services.
• Telephone and Contact Center solution administration
• Participate in the installation and administration of the IP telephony and call distribution platform.
• Ensure, according to the assigned scope, the monitoring of IP-PBX, ACD, IVR solutions and call monitoring tools.
• Ensure connectivity between the telephone advisor workstations, the servers and the Contact Center platform.
• Check the quality of voice communications: latency, jitter and packet loss.
• Participate in the configuration of telephone sets, headsets and user terminals.
• Ensure technical coordination with the Contact Center solution integrator.
• Contribute to the resolution of incidents affecting incoming calls, outgoing calls and recordings, according to the permissions granted.
• Information security and data protection
• Apply the information systems security policy.
• Administer firewalls, antivirus software, and workstation and server protection solutions.
• Control access to systems and apply the principle of least privilege.
• Implement measures to protect against unauthorized access.
• Ensure the confidentiality of call recordings and customer data.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, systems and networks, telecommunications or equivalent field.
• A professional certification is an asset.

Professional experience:

• Desired experience of three to five years in systems and network administration.
• Experience in a Contact Center, call center or multi-site infrastructure is a significant advantage.
• Experience in IP telephony and high availability infrastructure management is desirable.
