About the job

We are looking for a Creative Production Specialist to design and manufacture customized products using laser cutting and engraving equipment. The role combines hands-on production, product development, material sourcing, and workshop management, with a focus on quality, creativity, and production efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop customized products, gifts, accessories, and promotional items.

• Operate laser cutting and engraving machines to manufacture products.

• Handle product assembly, finishing, quality control, and packaging.

• Source materials, compare suppliers, and monitor stock and production costs.

• Set up and organize the production workshop, tools, and equipment.

• Develop prototypes, explore new materials, and improve production processes.

• Ensure product quality, minimize waste, and follow safety procedures.

What We’re Looking For

• Degree or technical training in Industrial/Product Design, Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, Graphic Design, or equivalent vocational qualification.or Digital Fabrication (A strong practical portfolio may compensate for an unrelated degree).

• Knowledge of at least one design tool: Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW, Inkscape, AutoCAD, Fusion 360, or SketchUp.

• Excellent spoken and written English

• Hands-on experience with laser cutting/engraving or similar production equipment.

• Basic knowledge of product design, materials, and manufacturing processes.

• Practical, detail-oriented, and creative mindset.

• Ability to manage production tasks, materials, and quality control.

• Basic understanding of vector design, measurements, materials, and product finishing.

• Good computer skills and ability to organize production tasks.

• Creative, hands-on, and resourceful.

• Detail-oriented and well-organized.

• Independent, adaptable, and solution-oriented.

• Willingness to learn new tools and production techniques.

Nice to Have

• Experience with laser cutting/engraving, CNC machines, or 3D printing.

• Knowledge of 3D modeling and prototyping.

• Experience in material sourcing, inventory management, or workshop organization.

• Ability to optimize production processes and reduce material waste.

Work Arrangement

Hybrid – Up to 3 days in the office in Algiers
