Job Summary

The Senior Scrum Master at level I7 is a mid-level leadership role responsible for facilitating Agile practices across software engineering teams. This position supports cross-functional squads working on building secure scalable and high-performance enterprise applications. The Scrum Master acts as a servant leader coach and process expert ensuring teams adhere to Agile principles and deliver high-quality outcomes.

Principal Responsibilities:

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies: PI Planning Sprint Planning Daily Stand-ups Sprint Reviews and Retrospectives.
• Implement and scale Agile frameworks (e.g. SAFe) across teams and programs.
• Empower teams to self-organize and collaborate effectively.
• Track and report Agile metrics such as velocity cycle time and burndown charts.
• Remove impediments and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and Engineering Managers to align delivery with business goals.
• Build dashboards to visualize team performance.

Skills:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or SAFe Scrum Master certification preferred.
• 3 years of experience in Agile software development environments.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum Kanban SAFe).
• Experience with tools like JIRA Confluence Azure DevOps.
• Excellent communication facilitation and conflict resolution skills.

• Sprint velocity and delivery predictability.
• Team satisfaction and engagement.
• Reduction in cycle time and improved throughput.
• Quality of deliverables and stakeholder feedback.
