Senior Field Service Engineer

Key responsibilities

• The purpose of this role is to secure the functional efficiency of the filling machine lines at customer sites. The job holder is required to consider the commercial conditions required while performing service and maintenance duties as needed to support customers during their daily production plan.
• Installation & Commissioning:Execute the installation startup and commissioning of high-speed SIG filling lines at customer sites.
• Maintenance & Support:Provide expert-level preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure maximum equipment efficiency and uptime.
• Troubleshooting:Diagnose and resolve complex electrical and automation faults using PLC programs and HMI interfaces.
• Customer Excellence:Act as the primary technical point of contact for customers providing on-site support and technical coaching for their operators.
• Performance Monitoring:Analyze technical KPIs (such as MTBF and MTTR) to recommend performance improvements.

You bring these skills experience & education

• Education:Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering (Power Automation or Mechatronics).
• Experience:Minimum of5 yearsof hands-on experience in theFood & Beverageor packaging industry.
• Automation Skills:Strong proficiency inPLC troubleshooting(e.g. Beckhoff Siemens) and industrial communication protocols (e.g.PROFIBUS Ethernet).
• Technical Literacy:Expert ability to read and interpret complex electrical schematics and technical manuals.
• Excellent command of the English language (written and spoken).
• High mobility and readiness to travel frequently to various customer locations.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills under pressure.
• Hands-on capability and willingness to work on mechanical issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage customer relationships effectively.
