Role Description The Senior Inventory Control role is a full-time, on-site position based in Qesm El Maadi. This role is responsible for overseeing inventory processes, ensuring stock accuracy, and managing physical inventory counts across warehouses and storage locations. Daily tasks include monitoring inventory levels, validating shipping and receiving activities, reconciling discrepancies, and implementing inventory control procedures. The Senior Inventory Control professional will collaborate with procurement, operations, and logistics teams to optimize inventory management and support demand planning. The role also includes preparing inventory reports, analyzing trends, and recommending process improvements to reduce waste and prevent stockouts or overages.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Inventory Control and Inventory Management, with experience in setting and enforcing policies and procedures. Candidates should possess skills in Inventory Accuracy and Physical Inventory, including cycle counting, auditing, and reconciliation of stock records. Candidates should possess experience in Shipping & Receiving, ensuring proper documentation, verification of inbound/outbound goods, and coordination with logistics. Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret inventory data, identify root causes of discrepancies, and implement corrective actions. Proficiency with inventory management systems, ERP or WMS software, and strong Excel skills for reporting and analysis. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams, including operations, procurement, and finance. Relevant experience in inventory control or supply chain, preferably in technology, utilities, or industrial sectors; a bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, or a related field is an advantage.
