MEP TECHNICAL OFFICE ENGINEERLocation: New Cairo, Cairo, Egypt Experience: 7–10 Years Employment Type: Full-time Description We are looking for an experienced MEP Technical Office Engineer to join our team and handle the technical office activities related to MEP works across our projects. The role will be responsible for reviewing and preparing technical documentation, coordinating MEP activities, managing quantities and subcontractor documents, and ensuring that technical requirements are properly addressed throughout the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities• Prepare and review BOQs, quantity take-offs, and technical documents for MEP works.• Review drawings and coordinate MEP systems with other disciplines.• Prepare and review Material Submittals, RFIs, and technical submissions.• Review subcontractors' quantities, invoices, and payment applications.• Coordinate with project teams, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to resolve technical issues.• Ensure that MEP works comply with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.• Assist in monitoring project quantities and variations.• Prepare and maintain technical office documentation and reports.• Use Auto CAD for reviewing and preparing technical drawings and layouts.• Support the project team in resolving technical and coordination issues. Requirements• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Mechanical Power Engineering.• 7–10 years of experience in MEP Technical Office.• Strong knowledge of HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting & Electrical Systems.• Hotels & Resorts experience is highly preferred.• Strong experience in Coastal projects is highly preferred.• Strong experience in BOQs, Quantity Take-Offs, Material Submittals, RFIs & Auto CAD.• Experience in subcontractor quantities, invoices & payment applications is preferred.• Strong technical, analytical, and coordination skills.• Good communication and problem-solving skills.• Good command of English is preferred.
