We are hiring on behalf of a leading restaurant chain in Egypt seeking an experienced and proactive Safety Manager to lead health safety and environmental initiatives across its operations. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with safety regulations promote a strong safety culture and maintain a safe working environment for employees and customers.

Role Overview
The Safety Manager will be responsible for developing implementing and monitoring health and safety policies procedures and programs across restaurant branches production facilities and corporate offices to minimize risks and ensure regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop implement and maintain health safety and environmental (HSE) policies and procedures

• Ensure compliance with local safety regulations food safety standards and company requirements

• Conduct regular safety inspections audits and risk assessments across all locations

• Investigate workplace incidents accidents and near misses and implement corrective actions

• Develop and deliver safety training and awareness programs for employees and management

• Monitor safety performance metrics and prepare regular reports for leadership

• Collaborate with operational teams to identify hazards and implement preventive measures

• Lead emergency preparedness and response planning including fire safety and evacuation procedures

• Ensure proper use and maintenance of personal protective equipment (PPE)

• Coordinate with regulatory authorities and support compliance inspections when required

• Promote a culture of safety awareness and continuous improvement throughout the organization

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Occupational Health & Safety Engineering Environmental Science or a related field

• 5 years of experience in Health Safety and Environment (HSE) management

• Experience within Food & Beverage Hospitality Manufacturing Retail or Multi-site Operations is highly preferred

• Strong knowledge of local HSE regulations and industry best practices

• Professional certifications such as NEBOSH IOSH OSHA or equivalent are highly preferred

• Experience conducting risk assessments incident investigations and safety audits

• Excellent communication leadership and stakeholder management skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage safety initiatives across multiple locations
