Senior Mechanical BIM Engineer

Job description

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Mechanical BIM Engineer to join our team and work at the intersection of Mechanical Engineering, BIM, MEP, and Engineering Software.
Key Responsibilities: • Perform functional and technical testing of BIM software • Validate software features against engineering requirements and BIM workflows • Identify and report software defects and collaborate with Development and QA teams • Provide technical support and troubleshoot customer issues • Deliver product demonstrations, onboarding sessions, and technical training • Develop training materials, user guides, and technical documentation • Validate Revit/BIM workflows and ensure alignment with industry standards • Collaborate with Product, Development, and QA teams • Support continuous improvement of software quality and customer experience Requirements: • 7+ years of experience in Mechanical Engineering with a strong BIM focus • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field • Advanced hands-on experience with Autodesk Revit MEP • Strong knowledge of BIM methodologies, workflows, and coordination • Strong Mechanical and MEP engineering knowledge • Experience with Revit Families, templates, and project standards • Experience in software testing, validation, or QA is highly preferred • Customer support, technical training, or product demonstration experience is a plus • Knowledge of Fire Protection Engineering and NFPA is an advantage • Experience with Navisworks, Dynamo, or Autodesk Construction Cloud is a plus • Experience in BIM, AEC, MEP, ConTech, CAD/BIM Solutions, or Engineering Software is preferred
