Civil Interface Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Civil Interface Engineer to join our team in Alexandria this role you will be responsible for designing developing and managing civil infrastructure interfaces that connect various engineering disciplines. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of civil systems while maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance. • Design and develop civil infrastructure interfaces that facilitate coordination between civil engineering systems and other disciplines
• Analyze interface requirements and create comprehensive technical specifications and documentation
• Utilize CAD and BIM software to model and visualize interface solutions
• Conduct technical assessments and testing to ensure interface systems meet project requirements and industry standards
• Collaborate with structural engineers architects and other stakeholders to resolve interface conflicts and optimize designs
• Prepare detailed technical reports drawings and presentations for project teams and clients
• Ensure all interface designs comply with applicable codes regulations and organizational standards
• Troubleshoot interface-related issues and implement corrective solutions efficiently
• Participate in project meetings and provide technical recommendations for interface optimization
• Maintain organized documentation and version control of all interface designs and specifications

Qualifications :

• 10 years of professional experience in civil engineering infrastructure design or related field
• Proven experience in interface design and coordination between multiple engineering disciplines
• Proficiency with CAD software (AutoCAD Civil 3D) and BIM platforms
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles structural analysis and construction standards
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
• Ability to read interpret and create technical drawings and specifications
• Strong organizational and project coordination skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Familiarity with infrastructure design standards and building codes
• Preferred: Experience with advanced BIM software and project management tools
• Preferred: Knowledge of construction sequencing and logistics
• Preferred: Experience working on large-scale infrastructure projects
