Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Participate in planning and preparing for audit activities and perform audit procedures in accordance with the work plan and approved professional standards. Conduct field audit work, prepare working papers, and documentation in accordance with audit requirements. Review and analyze accounts and supporting documents, and perform necessary tests in accordance with the audit program. Assist in reviewing and preparing financial statements and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards. Apply International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) requirements as needed. Be familiar with Egyptian auditing standards and related professional requirements and apply them in audit work. Identify observations and risks arising from audit work and report them to the direct supervisor, discussing them with the team. Follow up on required observations and modifications and ensure completion of necessary documents and procedures. Communicate and coordinate with clients to obtain the required data and documents to complete audit work. Work within the audit team and coordinate with team members to ensure tasks are completed on time. Provide support and guidance to less experienced team members as needed. Contribute to preparing audit reports and results and discussing them with management. Adhere to deadlines, quality requirements, and the office’s professional policies and procedures. Perform any other related tasks assigned by management.

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience in audit firms – essential requirement.
• 1 to 5 years of practical experience in auditing.
• Experience in performing audit work and preparing working papers.
• Good knowledge of accounting standards, preferably with a good understanding of IFRS.
• Familiarity with Egyptian auditing standards and related professional standards.
• Ability to analyze accounts and documents, prepare, and review working papers.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel, Word, conducting research, and using the internet for work.
• Fluent English language skills (spoken and written).
• Strong communication and client interaction skills.
• Ability to work in a team and adhere to instructions and deadlines.
