Key responsibilities:✔️ Oversee daily accounting operations related to shipping and freight forwarding.✔️ Manage shipping accounts and reconcile financial transactions accurately.✔️ Prepare invoices, debit/credit notes, financial statements, and accounting reports.✔️ Monitor Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).✔️ Follow up on customer collections and supplier payments.✔️ Coordinate financial matters with shipping lines, agents, customers, and internal departments.✔️ Review freight costing, job costing, and profitability analysis.✔️ Reconcile supplier, customer, and agent accounts.✔️ Prepare monthly closing reports, cash flow reports, and financial analyses.✔️ Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and maritime industry requirements.✔️ Maintain accurate accounting records and support internal/external audits.✔️ Lead and supervise the accounting team.✔️ Assist in budgeting, financial planning, and cost-control initiatives.✔️ Ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded in the IST ERP System. Qualifications:???? Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.✔️ 5–7 years of experience as a Chief Accounting Officer within the Shipping, Freight Forwarding, or Logistics industry.✔️ Mandatory experience using the IST ERP System .✔️ Strong analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills.✔️ Advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills.✔️ Excellent written and spoken English. ????
