Role Description The Senior Video Editor role is a part-time, hybrid position based in Giza, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. The person in this role will edit and assemble video content for digital products, marketing campaigns, and client projects, ensuring high-quality storytelling and visual consistency. Day-to-day tasks include organizing raw footage, performing advanced video editing, applying color grading, and integrating motion graphics and visual elements in line with brand guidelines. The Senior Video Editor will collaborate closely with designers, developers, and marketing teams to refine concepts, maintain project timelines, and optimize video assets for various platforms and formats. The role also involves contributing creative input to pre-production planning and advising on best practices for video production workflows. Qualifications Strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing, with experience managing end-to-end post-production workflows. Proficiency in Video Color Grading, with the ability to maintain visual consistency and enhance overall image quality. Hands-on expertise in Motion Graphics and Graphics to create engaging visual elements and animated assets. Advanced knowledge of industry-standard editing and motion tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or equivalent). Proven experience as a Senior Video Editor or similar role, preferably in a digital agency, software house, or creative studio environment. Strong visual storytelling abilities, attention to detail, and a portfolio demonstrating high-quality work across different formats. Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a hybrid work setting. Effective communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams; English proficiency is beneficial. Relevant education or training in Film, Media, Visual Communications, or a related field is an advantage.
