Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on various types of pumps: centrifugal, reciprocating, and submersible.
• Disassemble, assemble, and replace pump spare parts: mechanical seals, gaskets, bearings, couplings, impellers/wheels.
• Adjust pump and motor alignment using measurement tools or laser.
• Diagnose mechanical faults: vibration, overheating, leakage, noise, and reduced flow.
• Maintain rotating equipment, compressors, valves, pipes, and flanges.
• Read mechanical drawings and equipment catalogs.
• Use measurement tools: calipers, micrometers, feeler gauges, dial indicators, and vibration measurement devices.
• Record faults, spare parts, and work orders.
• Collaborate with electrical and production teams to minimize downtime.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Mechanical Technology or equivalent.
• 3 to 5 years of practical experience in pump and mechanical equipment maintenance.
• Preferred experience in gas, chemical, or petrochemical plants.
• Good knowledge of pumps, belts, couplings, bearings, mechanical seals, and lubrication.
• Ability to read technical drawings.
• Awareness of safety and occupational health procedures.
• Ability to work in shifts and emergencies.
