Job Summary:To oversee and monitor the subsidiaries’ compliance with corporate governance requirements issued by regulatory authorities, coordinate with compliance officers to develop and update governance policies and procedures, and conduct periodic assessments of the governance framework while preparing the required reports.
Job Responsibilities:1. Monitor governance compliance: Ensure subsidiaries comply with regulatory and bank governance requirements, follow up on gaps, and obtain supporting documentation.
2. Governance policies & assessments: Develop, update, and distribute governance assessment tools and ensure subsidiaries establish, adopt, and regularly update required governance policies and procedures.
3. Reporting & records: Review assessment results, maintain the subsidiaries’ governance register and related data, and prepare periodic reports for the Governance Committee and relevant committees.
4. Coordination & follow-up: Coordinate with subsidiary compliance officers, monitor internal controls and governance implementation, and ensure required updates are applied.
5. Team management & additional duties: Supervise the first-line manager, assign and monitor tasks, evaluate performance, and perform other duties assigned by the Head of Sector. Job Qualifications:A university degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. Preferably, completion of specialized courses in Governance Principles, Regulatory/Control Areas, and Administrative Skills Development. At least 8 years of experience in the banking sector. At least 6 years of experience in the field of Governance.
