Role Description The Senior Sales Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Qesm El Maadi. This role combines technical expertise with commercial acumen to design and present integrated ICT and telecom solutions that align with client needs and Nile ICT’s offerings. The Senior Sales Engineer collaborates closely with sales teams to qualify opportunities, lead technical discovery sessions, prepare proposals and solution designs, and deliver product demonstrations and presentations to prospective and existing clients. Day-to-day responsibilities include responding to RFPs and RFQs, preparing technical documentation and cost estimates, supporting solution implementation handovers, and providing pre-sales and escalation-level technical support. The role also involves maintaining strong customer relationships, gathering feedback from clients and partners, and working with internal teams to improve solution offerings and ensure successful project outcomes. Qualifications Strong sales engineering and solution design skills, with experience translating complex ICT and telecom requirements into integrated technical and commercial proposals. Hands-on technical support and troubleshooting abilities, ideally across networking, security, unified communications, and system integration environments. Effective communication and presentation skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Proven background in sales and customer service, with experience managing client relationships, handling objections, and supporting long-term account growth. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field; advanced certifications in networking, security, or vendor technologies are an advantage. Experience working with telecom and ICT solutions such a Light Current, LAN/WAN, FTTx, unified communications, IP network security, and disaster recovery is highly beneficial. Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with sales, technical, and project teams, and to manage multiple opportunities and deadlines simultaneously.
