• Review designs of the primary engineering for HV substations for various projects, including new installations, upgrades, and expansions.

• Review and communicates finding with the consultant regarding design drawings, calculations, and specifications using industry standards and company guidelines.

• Perform load flow, short circuit, and protection coordination studies and the necessary calculations required for electrical equipment sizing.

• Prepare, review the necessary technical specifications for substation electrical components.

• Conduct site visits and inspections to gather necessary information for design and construction.

• Provide quality reviews of construction packages prior to issuance to construction.

• Provide technical assistance during the construction of projects.

Requirements

• 3-7 years of experience in primary engineering of substations.

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from a recognized university

• Proficient use of software: AutoCAD - ETAP

• Strong understanding of electrical theories, codes & standards of electrical systems.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
