About the Role We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our Finance team.
This position is ideal for a candidate with approximately 1 year of accounting experience who is eager to develop their skills in a dynamic and international environment.
The successful candidate will support daily accounting activities, ensure accurate financial records, and assist with month-end close processes.
French fluency and a good working level of English are required, as the role involves interaction with both local and international stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities · Process and record supplier & customer invoices, employee expenses, and accounting entries.
· Perform accounts payable and accounts receivable reconciliations.
· Assist with bank reconciliations and cash management activities.
· Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
· Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.
· Prepare and review financial reports and accounting schedules.
· Follow up on outstanding receivables and support collection activities.
· Assist with VAT declarations and other tax-related filings.
· Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation.
· Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable accounting standards.
· Participate in process improvement initiatives within the Finance department.
Qualifications & Experience · Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
· Approximately 1 year of professional experience in accounting, finance, or bookkeeping.
· Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
· Experience using ERP systems or accounting software is an advantage.
· Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
