Main mission
The General Controller manages the management control, financial planning and economic performance of the hotel, ensuring the reliability of data, cost control and compliance with Fairmont standards.

Main responsibilities

Financial performance management:
develop and coordinate the annual budget and forecasts in conjunction with operational departments;
produce monthly financial reports (P&L, variance analysis, forecasts) in Fairmont formats and deadlines;
analyze budget variances and formulate corrective recommendations
; monitor and optimize key financial KPIs

Revenue & Cost Control:
Supervise Revenue Control (Income Audit) and validate daily reports.
Manage purchasing, inventory, and F&B cost control (food cost, beverage cost).
Analyze profitability by profit center (Rooms, F&B, Spa, Events, etc.).
Ensure cash handling and procedures are followed.

Internal Control & Compliance:
Implement and ensure compliance with Fairmont internal control procedures (Focus)
; conduct regular internal audits across all departments;
prevent risks of fraud, error, and non-compliance;
serve as the primary contact during Accor internal audits and external inspections.

Management of the Controlling Team:
Supervise and develop the team under your responsibility (revenue controllers, cost controller, etc.).
Conduct annual performance reviews and employee development plans.
Promote a culture of excellence, integrity, and rigor within the department.

Desired Candidate Profile

Desired profile

Master's degree
(Bac+5) in Finance, Management Control, Auditing

Minimum 5 years of experience
in management control,
proven experience in a similar position within a 5-star hotel.
Knowledge of the Accor environment is highly desirable.

Technical skills
: Proficiency in hotel systems (Opera, Micros, Sun Systems, equivalent);
Advanced proficiency in Excel and reporting and BI tools

Behavioral skills (Heartist):

Rigor, integrity and a strong sense of confidentiality;
Analytical and synthesis skills, results-oriented;
Excellent communication skills, ability to explain financial data clearly to operational staff
