As part of the development of our Data & AI activities, we are looking for a Data Scientist / Machine Learning Engineer to design, develop, and industrialize advanced analysis, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence solutions.

You will be involved in the entire Data Science project lifecycle, from understanding business needs and data exploration to the development, deployment, and monitoring of models in production.

You will work closely with the business, Data Engineering, Data Architecture, BI, MLOps, and IT teams to transform data into concrete solutions with high added value.

Functions and responsibilities

• Analyze business needs and translate them into Data, Machine Learning, or AI use cases.
• Identify, collect, prepare, and analyze the data necessary for various use cases.
• Perform exploratory and statistical analyses to identify trends, correlations, anomalies, and opportunities.
• Design, develop, train, and optimize Machine Learning models.
• Implement classification, regression, clustering, forecasting, and anomaly detection models.
• Evaluate model performance and implement appropriate improvement methods.
• Develop, when necessary, solutions based on generative AI: LLM, RAG, embeddings, AI agents, or equivalent technologies.
• Participate in the industrialization and deployment of models in collaboration with Data Engineering and MLOps teams.
• Develop Python components, APIs, and services to expose the developed models and solutions.
• Contribute to setting up monitoring and tracking the performance of models in production.
• Use Data environments such as Spark, PySpark, Databricks and Data Lake / Lakehouse architectures.
• Participate in software development practices: Git, CI/CD, Docker, and APIs.
• Document data, models, hypotheses, methods, and results.
• Present results and recommendations clearly and understandably to technical and business stakeholders.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of Data & AI standards, methods, and best practices.
  

Required profile :

• Master's degree (Bac+5) in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or equivalent field.
• Professional experience of at least 3 years in Data Science, Machine Learning, or a similar field.
• Very good command of Python and SQL.
• Solid knowledge of statistics, Machine Learning, and predictive modeling.
• Proficiency with tools such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn and, ideally, XGBoost/LightGBM.
• Experience with PySpark/Spark and Databricks is a significant asset.
• Knowledge of a Cloud environment (Azure, AWS, or GCP) is appreciated.
• Familiarity with MLOps practices and tools such as MLflow, Docker, CI/CD, and Git.
• Experience in generative AI, LLM, RAG, embeddings, or vector databases is an asset.
• Ability to work with large volumes of data and solve complex problems.
• Analytical mindset, curiosity, and a taste for experimentation.
• Autonomy, rigor, and ability to take initiative.
• Good communication skills and ability to explain technical subjects to business stakeholders.
• Ability to work effectively in an international and collaborative environment.
