As a Java Back End Kafka technical lead, you will be responsible for: Defining and championing the technical architecture choices for applications. Designing robust, high-performance, and scalable solutions. Providing technical support to developers: mentoring, code review, best practices. Participating in the breakdown of user stories and the allocation of technical tasks. Ensuring the quality and conformity of deliverables before production deployment. Contributing to the design and evolution of microservices and event-driven architectures. Working across the entire software lifecycle: design, development, testing, deployment, and operation. Participating in the continuous improvement of practices and product quality. Your technical environment: Java / Spring Boot, Kafka and RabbitMQ, Microservices & Event-Driven Architectures, Relational and document-oriented databases, CI/CD & DevOps practices, Git Clean Architecture, SOLID, YAGNI, Unit and integration testing, Sonar / code quality. Regular use of generative AI tools in development is also a real plus.

Desired Candidate Profile

Your profile: Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent. Minimum 7 years of experience in Java Backend development. Significant experience with Kafka/RabbitMQ and event-driven architectures. Ability to take a step back and analyze architectural topics and act as a technical expert. Excellent team spirit, a collaborative approach, and a passion for mentoring. Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. Good level of French, both written and spoken. Experience in retail/mass distribution would be an asset.
