As part of the strategic modernization of its application and decision-making assets, we are launching a migration project to the Azure Cloud. As a Data Engineer, you will join a project team of 7 people dedicated to resolving technical debt and redesigning the BI platform. Your mission is to transform legacy data flows into a modern, scalable, and high-performing decision-making architecture on Azure.
Main missions:
Audit and mapping: Analyze the existing system (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, on-premise SQL Server databases) and define the target migration strategy.
Data Migration: Design and implement data pipelines in Azure Data Factory.
BI Modernization: Migrate on-premise data models to Azure SQL Database and Azure Synapse/Fabric.
Cloud Architecture: Participate in the implementation of data governance and security within the Azure ecosystem.
Industrialization: Implement automation practices (Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD for Data).
Collaboration: Work closely with .NET developers (for API integration) and the DevOps expert.
