Your function

Reporting to the General Manager, the HSE Manager is responsible for the company's HSE policy. The HSE Manager implements an HSE management system aimed at controlling and preventing risks related to working conditions and the safety of personnel and the environment. They ensure that procedures comply with legislation, internal rules and constraints, and make recommendations and coordinate action plans to improve and secure the work environment.

As HSE Manager, your responsibilities will be as follows*:

• Promote and implement the HSE policy across the different sites by involving all departments and employees;
• Formalize the processes and procedures necessary for the functioning of the organization;
• Provide ongoing communication to management and the Group regarding the implementation and effectiveness of HSE programs;
• Ensure the various reporting requirements are met by management and the Group;
• Establishment and execution of the company's certification action plan (Management system certifications);
• Management of Group, insurance and customer HSE audits;
• To conduct ongoing monitoring of regulations and legislation concerning safety and the environment;
• To manage risk analyses and ensure that accident and incident investigations effectively identify the root cause and that corrective and preventive actions are implemented as soon as possible;
• establish prevention programs to reduce incidents, workplace accidents and occupational diseases;
• Ensure the implementation of safety measures for employees, industrial facilities and products;
• Leading a team of HSE reference managers;
• Raising awareness among teams regarding the approach and compliance with HSE procedures;
• Conduct audits based on internal or external benchmarks;
• Participate in cross-functional missions at other group sites;
• Manage and implement the schedule for internal and external HSE training;
• Follow up on HSE events in collaboration with the occupational physician;
• To carry out all tasks within the scope of their duties or as requested by their hierarchical superior.

Desired Candidate Profile

• You have a background in:
  • Engineer with a specialization in Risk Management and Prevention or QHSE;
  • Or a professional Master's degree specializing in Risk Management and Prevention or QHSE;
  • Or Bac+2 with 15 years of experience in HSE in an industrial environment.
• You have a minimum of 8 years' experience in a similar position
• You are my master:
  • Office and IT management tools;
  • Regulations and legislation concerning safety and the environment
  • General HSE standards (ISO 45001, ISO 14001)
  • Risk analysis techniques
  • Fire safety
• You have good management of internal and external audits;
• You are comfortable communicating in French and English, both written and spoken.
