Purchasing Manager | Marrakech (Morocco)

Job :

As Purchasing Manager, your role will be to ensure product availability while optimizing costs, deadlines, and quality. Your missions include:

Purchasing
• Define and implement the company's purchasing strategy
• Identify and select new national and international suppliers
• Negotiate prices, deadlines, payment terms, and contracts
• Evaluate supplier performance (quality, reliability, compliance)

Procurement
• Manage procurement needs according to forecasts and production planning
• Monitor stock levels and optimize rotation
• Issue and track purchase orders
• Coordinate internal logistics to ensure uninterrupted availability

Importation
• Manage the entire import process: documents, transport, customs, transit
• Optimize logistics costs and choose the best incoterms
• Ensure regulatory compliance (customs, international standards, certificates)

Reporting & coordination
• Track KPIs: costs, deadlines, service level, turnover rate
• Collaborate closely with all departments
• Propose improvements to reduce costs and increase efficiency

Required profile :

• Bachelor's or Master's degree (Bac+4 to Bac+5) in international trade, supply chain, purchasing, or equivalent
• Proven experience (minimum 3 to 5 years) in purchasing, procurement, and import/export
• Excellent negotiation skills and analytical mindset
• In-depth knowledge of Incoterms, customs procedures, and international logistics
• Fluency in French and English required (oral & written)
• Rigor, organizational skills, and ability to work under pressure
