Reporting to the Store Supervisor , the Head Waiter is responsible for the quality of service and customer satisfaction at their assigned section. They ensure a warm and personalized welcome, coordinate service with their team, and ensure adherence to the establishment's quality standards to provide an impeccable customer experience.

Main responsibilities

• To ensure a warm, personalized welcome and attentive service, ensuring customer satisfaction throughout their experience.
• Advise customers on food and drinks, promote point-of-sale offers and develop additional sales.
• Organize and coordinate the service of their rank, supervise the work of the Waiters, apprentices and trainees, and ensure the smooth running of the service.
• Check the setup of the point of sale, the cleanliness of the work areas, as well as the cleaning and tidying up after service.
• Ensure that you are familiar with the menu, the daily specials and any potential stock shortages before each service.
• To handle customer requests, comments and complaints professionally, while contributing to their loyalty.
• Ensure compliance with billing and collection procedures, quality standards and internal procedures.
• Participate in the management of equipment, limit breakage, contribute to inventories if necessary and ensure compliance with hygiene standards, food safety (HACCP) and safety instructions.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Hotel and restaurant training and proven experience as a Head Waiter, ideally in high-end hotels.
• Excellent sense of service, hospitality and customer satisfaction.
• Leadership, team spirit, organizational skills and good sales skills.
• Dynamic, rigorous and excellent presentation.
• My mastery of English, French and Arabic is essential.
