Maintenance Technician

YOUR MISSION Mission: To ensure the preventive and corrective maintenance of site equipment to guarantee its availability, reliability, safety, and proper functioning, in support of operational activities. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Performing Maintenance Operations Carry out preventive, corrective, conditional, and palliative maintenance operations on site equipment. Perform the necessary checks, inspections, and diagnostics to ensure the proper functioning of the equipment. Identify mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, or pneumatic faults and malfunctions. Carry out troubleshooting and equipment recommissioning operations. Participate in maintenance operations on engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, pneumatic systems, and lifting devices. Ensure necessary adjustments, parts replacements, and repairs. Conduct post-intervention tests and ensure proper equipment operation before returning it to service. Planning and monitoring interventions: Carry out interventions according to the maintenance schedule established by the Maintenance Manager. Prioritize interventions based on equipment criticality and operational needs. Promptly report anomalies and faults requiring specialized intervention. Complete intervention reports and ensure traceability of completed work. Participate in identifying the causes of recurring breakdowns and propose improvement actions. Monitor interventions entrusted to external service providers, in support of the Maintenance Manager. Equipment Availability and Reliability: Contribute to improving the operational availability of the equipment fleet. Ensure equipment is in good working order before use. Perform regular checks of critical equipment. Participate in reducing unplanned downtime and downtime. Alert the Maintenance Manager in case of risk of equipment failure or degradation. Participate in actions to improve equipment reliability and lifespan. Safety and Environment: Respect and enforce applicable safety rules during maintenance interventions. Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) for the interventions. Apply the procedures for locking out and securing equipment before intervention.Adhere to the rules regarding the management of oils, lubricants, used parts, and other waste generated by maintenance operations. Contribute to the prevention of risks related to electromechanical equipment. Participate in the implementation of 5S standards in the workshop and intervention areas. Adopt maintenance practices that minimize energy consumption, leaks, fluid losses, and environmental impact. Parts and Tool Management: Use the tools and equipment necessary for interventions correctly. Ensure the proper condition and storage of maintenance tools and materials. Identify spare parts and consumable needs. Report replenishment needs to the Maintenance Manager. Participate in the management and identification of critical spare parts. Avoid unnecessary consumption of parts and consumables during interventions. Collaboration with Operations Teams: Provide technical support to the operations teams. Communicate with operators and team leaders to identify equipment anomalies. Respond quickly to critical equipment issues to minimize production disruptions. Inform operations of equipment status and any usage restrictions. Contribute to improved coordination between maintenance and operations. Reporting and Continuous Improvement: Complete intervention reports and maintenance histories. Communicate information regarding breakdowns, interventions, and anomalies to the Maintenance Manager. Participate in monitoring maintenance indicators: availability, failure rate, downtime, MTTR, preventive maintenance performed, etc. Propose technical improvements to increase equipment reliability and availability. Participate in root cause analyses of major or recurring breakdowns. Desired Candidate Profile

• Bac+2 training in industrial maintenance, electromechanics, mechanics, industrial electricity or equivalent field.
• Experience required: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in industrial maintenance, electromechanics or equipment maintenance.
