1. Design and Modeling of ADAS Functions
Definition of functional requirements: Structure and draft functional and safety specifications (ISO 26262) for ADAS systems (e.g., SALC, LPA). Collaborate with system and architecture teams to align technical requirements.
MATLAB/Simulink-based modeling: Design functional models from specifications, adhering to modeling rules (e.g., MISRA, AUTOSAR). Utilize tools like Design Verifier and MCDC to validate requirement coverage and generate embeddable C code.
2. Validation and Testing
Model-In-the-Loop (MIL) Validation: Test ADAS functions in simulated environments (e.g., CarMaker) to evaluate performance and robustness. Automate tests via MATLAB/Python scripts.
Vehicle data analysis: Use tools like CANalyzer, vSignalyzer, or MATLAB scripts to analyze vehicle logs (MF4/ASC/MAT files). Identify and fix anomalies reported through platforms like JIRA.
3. Calibration and Integration
Calibration of functional parameters: Optimize ADAS algorithm parameters (e.g., detection thresholds, reaction times) to meet defined KPIs.
Integration on MIL/HIL/SIL platform: Integrate allocatable functions (FAs) on test platforms (e.g., MIL) and deliver validated versions on GitHub. Verify model compliance for ECU (Electronic Control Unit) integration.
4. Collaboration and Technical Support
Multidisciplinary team work: Participate in functional architecture reviews and technical workshops with internal/external stakeholders. Provide technical support to software development and validation teams.
Anomaly management: Diagnose technical issues (e.g., ADAS malfunctions) and propose corrective solutions. Follow JIRA workflows for processing MIL/HIL/SIL issues.
5. Tool Development and Automation
Creation of analysis applications: Develop MATLAB tools to automate data analysis and KPI report generation. Contribute to the improvement of test and validation processes.
