About the Role
Moyasar Financial Company is seeking an AML Specialist to join its Anti-Money Laundering (AML) team. This full-time role is designed for professionals with 0-1 years of experience, focusing on managing financial crime risks within the organization. The specialist will contribute to various aspects of AML compliance, including transaction monitoring, investigations, and regulatory reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor transactions and conduct investigations into suspicious activities.
- Review Know Your Customer (KYC) documentation for both new and existing merchants.
- Support Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) processes.
- Perform sanctions screening to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Prepare and assist in the submission of Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs).
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to AML investigations.
- Support the development and implementation of AML policies, controls, procedures, and risk assessments.
- Track AML-related Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and support regulatory reporting requirements.
- Stay informed about updates from the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA), the Financial Action Task Force (FATF), and other relevant AML requirements.
- Support AML awareness and training activities within the company.
Qualifications and Experience
- A minimum of 0-1 years of experience in an AML-related field.
- Demonstrated understanding of financial crime risks and AML regulations.
- Ability to analyze complex information and identify suspicious patterns.
Required Skills
- Strong analytical and investigative skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools for transaction monitoring and data analysis.
- Effective communication skills for reporting and collaboration.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Work Environment
This is a full-time position within Moyasar Financial Company's dedicated AML team. The role involves working collaboratively to ensure robust financial crime prevention measures are in place.
