About the Job
An opportunity has arisen for Commis 1 - Kitchen to join Jumeirah Jabal Omar.
The main duties and responsibilities of this role:
Gathers, measures, mixes, and prepares meal ingredients, sauces, and seasoning.
Wash, peel, and chop vegetables, fruits, and meat etc. as applicable.
Proficient knowledge of cutting and seasoning different meats as and marination.
Prepare dishes such as salads and sauces with finer details and exquisite presentation.
Proficient knowledge of established recipes and plating guide provided, to exact specification.
Ensure that the food items are stocked properly in refrigerators and freezers.
Document inventory of kitchen supplies, and notifying supervisors of low stock situations.
