Technician Electrician

About the Role
Sheraton is seeking a Technician - Electrician to join their team. This full-time role involves the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment, ensuring operational efficiency and adherence to safety standards. The position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.
Key Responsibilities

Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures using hand and power tools.
Inspect and diagnose malfunctioning tools, equipment, electrical systems, apparatus, and components.
Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
Utilize testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes to assess electrical systems.
Test batteries in generators, emergency lighting, and other critical systems.
Plan the layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures based on job specifications and relevant electrical codes.
Read and interpret blueprints and schematics accurately.
Respond to repair requests and perform preventative maintenance on tools, equipment, and appliances.
Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition necessary parts and supplies.

Safety and Operational Compliance

Adhere to all company, safety, and security policies and procedures.
Report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries promptly.
Complete all required safety training and certifications.
Properly store flammable materials according to safety guidelines.
Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.

Physical Requirements

Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
