Company Description: STS is a engineering company specialized on post-tensioning, heavy lifting, ground anchors and stay cables. The company aims to grow their business across MENA region and is looking for a Business Development Specialist to support the promotion and development across the MENA region and Saudi Arabia in particular.
The successful candidate will combine a solid understanding of above-mentioned technologies with proven commercial experience in the regional market. The role will focus on identifying new business opportunities, developing relationships with stakeholders, supporting project opportunities and strengthening STS’s presence among consultants, contractors and project owners.
Key responsibilities:Identify and develop new project and sales opportunities across MENA. Build and maintain relationships with clients, developers, consultants, contractors and other key decision-makers. Promote STS products, systems and technical services at the specification, design and tender stages. Coordinate with technical, commercial and management teams to prepare proposals, presentations and tender submissions. Prepare market researches, competitor analysis and development of local business networks. Represent the company at client meetings, industry events and project discussions.
Candidate profile:Experience in business development, technical and project sales within the construction sector. Experience across MENA region is a must. Existing professional network among project owners, consultants, contractors or developers will be a strong advantage. Experience in post-tensioning is a must (either contractor, client or consultant side are considered) Experience in bridge construction, infrastructure projects is highly preferred. Ability to communicate confidently with both technical and commercial stakeholders. Willingness to travel within the UAE, GCC and wider MENA region for exhibitions and meetings.
