Team members contribute to a modern, scalable ecosystem that supports digital transformation in industrial environments. Role Description The Automation Technician is a full-time, on-site role. This role focuses on installing, configuring, and maintaining automation systems and equipment used within customer factories, ensuring reliable and safe operation. Daily responsibilities include diagnosing and resolving technical issues, performing routine and preventive maintenance on electrical and robotic components, and supporting the integration of automation solutions with the Industrial Intelligence Platform. The Automation Technician collaborates with engineers and operations staff to implement improvements, minimize downtime, and align equipment performance with production and safety standards. The role also involves documenting work performed, following established procedures, and providing feedback to enhance system design and reliability. Qualifications Strong troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving issues in automation systems and related equipment. Hands-on experience with robotics, including setup, calibration, and basic programming or configuration. Solid understanding of electricity and electrical systems, including reading schematics and working safely with industrial power circuits. Practical knowledge of preventive maintenance practices for automated production lines and control systems. Experience working with automation technologies such as PLCs, sensors, actuators, and industrial control hardware. Relevant technical diploma or degree in industrial automation, electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a related field. Familiarity with industrial safety standards and best practices in manufacturing environments. Ability to interpret technical documentation, use diagnostic tools, and maintain clear maintenance records. Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on-site. Previous experience in factory or industrial settings, particularly with SME manufacturers, is an advantage.
