???? We're Hiring | Assistant Quality Assurance Manager
At Americana Restaurants, we operate leading global brands across the Kingdom, including KFC, Hardee's, Pizza Hut, Krispy Kreme, TGI Fridays, and Peet's Coffee.
We are looking for an experienced Saudi food safety professional to strengthen our Quality Assurance team.
???? Location: Riyadh - Head Office???? Department: Quality Assurance???? Employment Type: Full-time???? Nature of Work: Office-based with regular audits and visits across the Kingdom
???? Quality Management System
- Support the delivery of the annual market Quality Plan and the expansion of our quality management system.- Follow and advise on Americana QMS procedures, including purchasing only from approved vendors.- Analyse quality data, report on performance, and drive improvement with Brand Operations.
???? Audits & Food Safety
- Ensure planned supplier, distribution centre, commissary, and restaurant audits are completed.- Run the product surveillance programme and support supplier and product approvals.- Support food safety risk assessment, incident reporting, and investigation of serious incidents.- Maintain compliance with Saudi food safety regulations and franchisor standards.
???? Product Quality & Complaints
- Lead product cutting and evaluations to maintain approved quality standards.- Support product localisation with vendors to the required specification or Gold Standard.- Resolve food complaints through store and supplier investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective action.
???? People & Stakeholders
- Support recruitment, training, and development of QA specialists.- Work closely with Procurement, Supply Chain, Maintenance, and Brand Operations.- Engage franchisors, suppliers, third-party auditors, and government authorities.
???? Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.- Minimum 7 years of experience in quality assurance or QHSE within restaurants, food manufacturing, or food processing.- 2 years in a management role preferred.- Detailed knowledge of HACCP, ISO, GFSI, and GMP.- Lead Auditor or equivalent audit certification.- Excellent written and spoken English; Arabic is a strong advantage.
