At Baytonia, we believe that ambitious people create meaningful impact. We’re looking for an International Purchasing Accountant to join our Accounting team and take ownership of accounting activities related to international purchasing and supplier transactions.

Key Responsibilities

Record and process international purchasing transactions accurately.

Review supplier invoices, purchase orders, and related documents.

Verify the accuracy and completeness of purchasing and accounting documents.

Coordinate with Procurement and Finance teams to ensure smooth transaction processing.

Monitor payments to international suppliers and follow up on outstanding balances.

Support account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.

Assist with accounting documentation related to imports and international purchases.

Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.

Maintain organized and accurate financial records.

Follow up proactively on pending transactions and support timely month-end activities.

Identify opportunities to improve accounting and purchasing processes.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

2+ years of accounting experience, preferably with international purchasing, suppliers, or import transactions.

Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.

Understanding of accounts payable, reconciliations, and financial documentation.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Good English communication skills.

Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and teamwork.

Proactive mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement.
