• Description: Role Summary We are hiring a Remote DevOps Engineer to build and own the infrastructure, deployment, and automation practices behind our products. Working remotely, you will collaborate closely with the Technical Lead and development team to move our containerized workloads toward production-ready Kubernetes, manage deployments across mixed on-premise and cloud environments, and keep releases reliable and secure across multiple concurrent customer engagements. Key Responsibilities
  • CI/CD Management: Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines across our products and multiple concurrent customer projects.
  • Kubernetes Orchestration: Lead the effort to take containerized workloads to production-ready Kubernetes, including cluster design, deployment strategy, and rollout.
  • Hybrid Deployments: Manage and automate deployments across mixed environments (customer on-premise data centers and cloud platforms) according to each engagement's requirements.
  • Infrastructure as Code: Build and maintain IaC for provisioning, configuration, and environment management.
  • Security & Compliance: Own secrets management and encryption-at-rest practices aligned with customer security requirements. Support customer security and architecture review meetings with infrastructure evidence, diagrams, and documentation.
  • Observability & Maintenance: Set up and maintain monitoring, logging, and application performance monitoring (APM) across environments.
  • System Collaboration: Work remotely with the Technical Lead and development team to align infrastructure decisions with system architecture and integration requirements.
  • Incident Response: Troubleshoot production issues across on-premise and cloud deployments and participate in incident response.
  • Documentation: Document deployment architecture, runbooks, and operational procedures.
  Requirements
  • Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience in a DevOps, infrastructure, or site reliability role.
  • Remote Work Capability: Proven ability to work effectively in a remote/distributed environment.
  • Containerization & Kubernetes: Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes, including designing and operating production-grade clusters.
  • CI/CD Tools: Experience building and maintaining pipelines with platforms such as Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
  • Infrastructure as Code: Hands-on experience with tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar for provisioning and configuration management.
  • Hybrid Environment Familiarity: Experience deploying and operating systems in customer-hosted, on-premise environments as well as at least one major cloud provider (GCP Infrastructure experience is a strong plus).
  • Security Practices: Working knowledge of secrets management and security hardening practices (KMS, Vault, or similar).
  • Networking: Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including load balancing, reverse proxies, and API gateways.
  • Tech Stack Alignment: Comfortable working directly with development teams building on .NET, React, and Flutter to support build and release processes.
  • Languages: Good written and spoken English. Arabic is a plus for coordinating with regional customer IT and security teams.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
  Nice to Have
  • Experience with observability stacks such as Elastic APM/ELK or similar.
  • Experience delivering to government or large enterprise customers, with awareness of security/compliance frameworks such as Saudi NCA-aligned controls.
  • Cloud or Kubernetes certifications (e.g., CKA, GCP Cloud certification).
