Job Summary

To provide prompt and courteous F&B service to the Hotels guests.

KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Welcoming customers informing them about specials or new items answering questions and accepting orders and payments.
• Promotes coffee consumption by educating customers; selling coffee and coffee grinding and brewing equipment accessories and supplies; preparing and serving a variety of coffee drinks along with pastries.
• Sells coffees and coffee grinding and brewing equipment by explaining differences in coffee beans and coffee preparation machines; demonstrating how brewing equipment operates.
• Prepares and sells coffee drinks by following prescribed recipes and preparation techniques for coffee drinks such as espresso caffe latte and cappuccino.
• Generates revenues by attracting new customers; defining new and expanded services and products.
• Maintains inventories by replenishing coffee bean supply; stocking coffee brewing equipment; maintaining supplies pastries and cookies for coffee bar.
• Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
• Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following organization standards and sanitation regulations.
• Improves quality results by studying evaluating and redesigning processes; implementing changes; maintaining and improving the appearance of the store and coffee bar.
• Learning about brewing methods beverage blends food preparation and presentation techniques to improve food quality.
• Maintain a clean dining area sanitizing tables and chairs and sweeping crumbs off of the floor
• Adhering to all food safety regulations and quality controls.

Qualifications :

QUALIFICATIONS

• Secondary school education

EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 2 years food and beverage experience with detailed Barista knowledge
• Previous public contact and/or cashiering experience
• Average reading writing and oral proficiency in the English language
• Must be well presented and professionally groomed at all times
• Able to account and handle cash effectively and efficiently
• Good communication and customer contact skills; good problem resolution skills
• Basic F&B product knowledge
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail
