About the Role
SNC-Lavalin Fayez Engineering is seeking a GIS Specialist- with CAD experience for a full-time position. This role is crucial for the Bridges Project, where the specialist will be responsible for developing, managing, analyzing, and maintaining Geographic Information System (GIS) data, maps, spatial databases, and digital mapping solutions. The position involves supporting engineering, design, construction, survey, and project management teams by providing accurate geospatial information and spatial analysis.

The GIS Specialist will facilitate planning, construction, monitoring, and asset management activities through various key functions:
- Infrastructure & Bridge Mapping
- Spatial Analysis & Reporting
- Survey & Engineering Integration
- Construction & Asset Data Management
- GIS Applications & Digital Solutions
- Quality Assurance & Compliance
Core Duties
Specific duties for this role include:
- Developing, managing, and maintaining GIS databases, geodatabases, and spatial datasets for bridge and infrastructure projects.
- Establishing GIS standards, workflows, and quality control procedures to ensure data integrity and consistency.
- Collecting, validating, organizing, and maintaining geospatial data from survey, engineering, utility, environmental, and construction teams.
- Ensuring accurate integration of GIS data from multiple project stakeholders.
Candidate Requirements
Candidates should meet the following qualifications:
- Previous GCC or KSA project experience is highly desirable.
- Experience supporting client organizations, engineering consultants, or major contractors is preferred.
