PURPOSE OF THE PROJECT

The position holder will lead the end-to-end product lifecycle for Cards portfolio from market and customer insight product design and development through to launch adoption portfolio optimisation and ongoing performance management. Translate evolving customer issuer and market needs into compelling scalable card propositions that deliver differentiated value and support growth objectives. Partner closely with sales client relationship technology operations risk compliance marketing and other cross-functional teams to ensure successful product execution strong customer engagement and effective portfolio management. Use market intelligence customer feedback and portfolio performance data to identify opportunities enhance product propositions drive usage and manage profitability ensuring the portfolio remains competitive relevant and aligned with strategic priorities.

Core Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Define and evolve premium card propositions including product features benefits pricing and customer value propositions aligned to market opportunities customer needs and strategic objectives.
• Manage the full product lifecycle from concept design and development through launch ongoing enhancements customer engagement and portfolio optimisation ensuring products remain competitive and relevant.
• Monitor and analyse key portfolio metrics including acquisition activation usage spend attrition revenue and profitability identifying opportunities to improve performance and maximise commercial value.
• Lead collaboration with card schemes processors vendors and internal teams across technology operations risk compliance finance and marketing to ensure effective product delivery implementation and ongoing management.
• Ensure products and lifecycle changes meet internal governance standards regulatory requirements and market expectations while effectively managing product risks and supporting compliant operationally sound delivery.

Knowledge and Experience:

• 5-7 years of product management experience within a large mature or well-established card issuing business preferably in a bank fintech payment network or financial institution.
• Managing premium card products.
• Developing product propositions pricing features benefits and customer value propositions.
• Working with card schemes processors vendors and internal delivery teams.
• Monitoring product performance portfolio growth activation usage attrition and revenue.
• Supporting product launches enhancements campaigns and customer communications.
• Collaborating with technology operations compliance risk finance and marketing teams.
• Ensuring products comply with internal governance regulatory requirements and market standards.

Mandatory Skills:

• Bachelors degree in Finance Economics Business Administration or a related field (Masters preferred).
• Previous experience within Banking Digital Payment & Card solutions or the FinTech industry.
• Regional experience including working in a faced-paced matrix organisation.
• Excellent communication skills in English (written verbal and presentation); Arabic preferred.

• Private banking wealth management affluent banking or premium card products.
• High-value customer propositions lifestyle benefits loyalty features concierge services or exclusive partnerships.
• The ability to analyse data troubleshoot payment issues optimize processes and make data-driven decisions.
• Good understanding of payment systems digital platforms system workflows security basics and industry technologies.
• An understanding of regional regulations across financial services or payment networks.
