Job Title:
Senior Legal Specialist
Job Purpose:
Provide legal advice and support to the Company, with a focus on Saudi Labor Law, human resources, and workforce management. Review contracts, handle legal cases, settlements, and violations, and ensure compliance with applicable Saudi laws and regulations while protecting the Company’s interests and minimizing legal risks.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide legal advice to various departments, particularly on labor and employment matters.
* Draft and review employment contracts, manpower service agreements, operational contracts, and commercial agreements.
* Provide legal support on contract termination, resignations, dismissals, disciplinary actions, wages, and leave matters.
* Manage and follow up on labor and commercial cases, claims, and disputes.
* Handle amicable settlements, negotiations, and settlement agreements.
* Prepare legal memoranda, objections, official letters, notices, and legal responses.
* Follow up on labor violations and complaints and coordinate with relevant government authorities.
* Review internal policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
* Identify legal and regulatory risks and provide appropriate recommendations.
* Prepare legal reports and monitor contractual and legal obligations.
Qualifications & Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree in Law, Legal Studies, Sharia, or a related field.
* 4–6 years of legal experience, preferably within the HR, manpower, or workforce services sector.
* Strong knowledge of Saudi Labor Law and relevant regulations.
* Experience in contract drafting, labor disputes, violations, and amicable settlements.
* Strong legal research, analytical, negotiation, and drafting skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
* Proficiency in English, particularly in reviewing and drafting contracts and legal correspondence, is an advantage.
