Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Cost Controller to join our team in Riyadh. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring analyzing and reporting project costs ensuring expenditures remain aligned with approved budgets and supporting management with timely financial insights throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and update project cost reports cost-to-complete and estimate-at-completion forecasts using RIB Candy.
- Monitor project expenditures against approved budgets and identify cost variances.
- Perform root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions.
- Review and validate subcontractor and supplier invoices.
- Maintain Cost Breakdown Structures (CBS) and Work Breakdown Structures (WBS).
- Track variation orders claims and provisional sums.
- Support monthly project cost reviews and management reporting.
- Reconcile project costs with finance and accounting records.
- Assist in budget preparation and cash flow forecasting.
- Coordinate with project managers planning procurement and site teams.
Qualifications :
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Quantity Surveying Civil Engineering Construction Management or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Cost Control or Quantity Surveying within the construction industry.
- Construction / contracting industry experience is mandatory.
- GCC experience preferred.
- Hands-on experience with RIB Candy or CostX (mandatory).
- Knowledge of Primavera SAP or equivalent ERP systems.
- Strong understanding of FIDIC contracts and commercial management principles.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Power BI experience is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills.
- Fluent English required; Arabic is an advantage.
- RICS AACE or PMP certifications are preferred.
