About the Role

Chevron Phillips Chemical Company is seeking a Technician Analyzers to join their team in Al Jubayl, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves executing routine repair, corrective maintenance, basic troubleshooting, and rectification of analyzer process equipment and systems. The objective is to maintain the availability and reliability of these systems for plant operations, working under supervision and in compliance with maintenance Standard Operating Procedures.

Company Overview

Chevron Phillips Chemical Company LLC, through its wholly owned affiliate Arabian Chevron Phillips Petrochemical Company (ACP), operates two 50/50 joint venture projects with Saudi Industrial Investment Group (SIIG) in the Eastern Province Industrial City of Al-Jubail: Saudi Chevron Phillips Company (SCP) and Jubail Chevron Phillips Company (JCP). Additionally, a third joint venture, Saudi Polymers Company (SPCo), is jointly owned by ACP and National Petrochemical Company (Petrochem).

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a role model for safety, adhering to the principle of "Work safely or not at all" and embracing the Tenets of Operation.
• Promote proactive safety by identifying and addressing "at risk" behaviors and conditions to contribute to zero incidents.
• Interpret diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
• Study and execute work orders in accordance with specified requirements.
• Obtain necessary work permits for maintenance tasks.
• Perform plant maintenance activities on process equipment and systems.
• Execute troubleshooting and rectification of process equipment and systems.
• Assist in the testing and commissioning of new or modified process equipment and systems.
• Support turnaround maintenance work.
• Apply risk control measures and safety procedures to ensure safe work activities, complying with EHS systems.
• Participate in toolbox meetings before commencing work.
• Maintain good housekeeping in the workplace.
• Document work performed in test forms and condition reports.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures for maintenance work.
• Adhere strictly to established environmental, health, safety, and quality policies and procedures.
• Undertake accountabilities in the operational excellence process as outlined in the schedule of responsibilities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement processes for the assigned area.
• Perform other relevant tasks as directed by the Supervisor Analyzers.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.

Required Qualifications

• 0-3 years of related experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Diploma degree or equivalent in Analytical / Instrumentation and Control Engineering.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Al Jubayl, Saudi Arabia, operating within an industrial plant setting. The role requires adherence to strict safety and operational procedures.
