We are looking for a Senior Accountant with strong experience in managing accounts, budgets, and financial reporting, capable of working efficiently within a professional and fast-paced environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Managing the full accounting cycle for 4 independent accounting ledgers, with complete separation between entries, reports, and returns for each ledger.
• Recording and reviewing daily journal entries, and preparing adjusting entries, along with monthly and annual closings.
• Preparing and reviewing the chart of accounts and cost centers.
• Monitoring accounts receivable, accounts payable, and credit limits for suppliers and digital platforms.
• Preparing monthly bank reconciliations and monitoring cash flow and cash position.
• Preparing financial statements and reports, and analyzing revenues, expenses, profitability, and financial variances.
• Preparing and following up on VAT, Zakat, and Withholding Tax returns, ensuring compliance with e-invoicing requirements.
• Preparing operating budgets and monitoring actual performance against them.
• Reviewing previous accounting treatments and proposing the necessary corrective entries.
• Coordinating with the external auditor, organizing and archiving financial documents, and maintaining their confidentiality.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and using it for financial analysis, financial modeling, and reporting.
• Experience in submitting Zakat and tax returns and adhering to relevant rules and regulations.
• Good knowledge of modern accounting software and digital technologies used in accounting (Odoo and Daftra).
• High ability to prepare balance sheets, budgets, as well as periodic and final financial reports.
• Strong skills in financial analysis, accuracy, organization, and priority management.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of practical experience in the accounting or finance field.
• Experience in preparing financial reports, budgets, and bank reconciliations.
• Good working knowledge of dealing with the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA).
• Knowledge of Zakat, tax, and VAT regulations.
