Role Description The Blowmolding Operator / Mechanic is a full-time, on-site role based in Jeddah, responsible for operating and maintaining blowmolding machines used in packaging production. Day-to-day tasks include setting up machines, adjusting parameters, monitoring production runs, and inspecting products to ensure they meet quality and safety standards. The role involves performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical and minor electrical issues, and coordinating with maintenance and production teams to minimize downtime. The operator / mechanic will also record production data, follow safety and housekeeping procedures, and support continuous improvement initiatives across the blowmolding area.

Qualifications

• Experience operating blowmolding or similar plastic processing machinery and understanding of production workflows.
• Mechanical aptitude, including basic repair, preventive maintenance, and equipment troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical instructions, machine manuals, and production specifications.
• Strong attention to detail, quality awareness, and commitment to safety practices in a manufacturing environment.
• Basic computer literacy for recording production data and using maintenance or reporting systems.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with production, maintenance, and quality teams.
• Willingness to work shifts, stand for extended periods, and handle physically demanding tasks when required.
• Technical diploma or vocational training in mechanical, industrial, or related fields is preferred; prior experience in packaging or plastics manufacturing is an advantage.
