About the Role

Tamer Consumer is seeking a Sales Capability Specialist to join their team in Jeddah or Makkah. This full-time role is designed to enhance the effectiveness and productivity of the B2B sales force, focusing on sales to various channels. The specialist will serve as a link between sales performance analysis and people development, translating data insights into actionable training, coaching, and capability programs. The objective is to ensure sales teams possess the necessary skills and knowledge to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine and ad-hoc analysis of sales data, including sales by channel, product performance, margins, customer segmentation, and salesperson productivity.
• Utilize data analysis skills, advanced Microsoft Excel, BI tools (Power BI, Tableau), and CRM data to identify performance gaps.
• Develop clear reports and presentations on sales force capabilities and performance metrics for management review.
• Identify specific skill or knowledge deficits within the team based on data and field observations to create targeted development plans.
• Deliver dynamic training sessions and workshops.
• Execute field coaching programs to reinforce learned skills and ensure consistent application of best practices.
• Manage the capability development portion of the onboarding process for new hires to ensure rapid productivity.
• Collaborate with Sales Management, Marketing, and Trade Marketing to align capability programs with strategic goals and new product launches.
• Maintain communication with the sales force to promote learning, gather feedback, and clarify expectations.
• Build collaborative relationships with sales leaders and team members.

Performance Indicators

The effectiveness of this role will be measured by several key performance indicators, focusing on capability impact, analysis, insights, and people development.

• Improvement in Sales Force Conversion Rate (*, Lead to Opportunity, Proposal to Close).
• Increase in average deal size or the number of product lines sold per B2B customer (Range Selling).
• Uptake and completion rates of key training modules.
• Timeliness and accuracy of required Sales Performance Reports.
• Number of actionable insights generated that lead to specific training or coaching interventions.
• Improvement in average sales representative competency scores from pre- and post-training assessments.
• Positive feedback scores from managers and trainees regarding training effectiveness and coaching quality.
• Reduction in the time it takes for new sales hires to reach full productivity.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess strong presentation skills and a foundational understanding of sales analysis and people development principles.

• 0-1 year of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in data analysis skills, including trend and variance analysis.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Familiarity with CRM data.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in the Makkah region, with work locations in Jeddah and Makkah. The role involves working closely with sales management, marketing, and trade marketing teams.
