Job description

Warehouse Management:

• Monitor inventory levels and ensure the availability of pharmaceuticals and medical supplies in the warehouse.
• Conduct regular audits of the warehouse to verify the accuracy of records.
• Ensure compliance with specified timelines for shipping and delivery operations.

Storage and Organization:

• Store pharmaceuticals according to appropriate health and safety standards, considering specific storage conditions such as temperature and humidity.
• Organize the warehouse to facilitate access to pharmaceuticals and prevent any clutter or damage.

Team Supervision:

• Lead and direct the warehouse team, including staff for receiving, shipping, and inventory.
• Train the team on safe and effective work practices.
• Evaluate employee performance and provide constructive feedback.

Logistics Operations Management:

• Coordinate with suppliers and relevant parties to ensure timely delivery of pharmaceuticals.
• Prepare distribution plans for pharmaceuticals and direct shipments to required destinations.

Compliance Assurance:

• Ensure warehouse compliance with all local and international regulations related to pharmaceuticals.
• Monitor health and safety conditions within the warehouse.
• Manage secure disposal of expired pharmaceuticals.

Report Preparation:

• Prepare regular reports on inventory movement, incoming shipments, and distribution.
• Provide recommendations for improving operations and reducing costs.

Operational Improvement:

• Propose initiatives to enhance operational efficiency within the warehouse.

· Updating and maintaining software systems related to inventory management.

Skills

Experience in managing pharmaceutical or food warehouses.

Strong leadership and organizational skills.
