Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and diligent Certified Safety Engineer to join our expanding team in Riyadh. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of safety protocols, ensuring regulatory compliance, and fostering a culture of risk prevention across all operational sites. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify potential hazards and execute comprehensive safety programs that align with both local Saudi Arabian regulations and international safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify workplace hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure full compliance with Saudi Labor Law, GOSI, and relevant international safety certifications (e.g., OSHA, NEBOSH).
• Lead internal safety audits and manage the documentation of safety incidents, investigations, and mitigation strategies.
• Design and deliver safety training workshops for employees at all levels to enhance safety awareness and emergency preparedness.
• Collaborate with project managers to integrate safety protocols into the planning and execution phases of all operations.
• Maintain accurate records of safety performance metrics and prepare detailed reports for senior management.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
• Proven track record as a Safety Engineer with 5 to 10 years of professional experience, preferably within the Saudi market.
• Current certification as a Safety Professional (e.g., CSP, NEBOSH Diploma, or equivalent).
• In-depth knowledge of local safety regulations and statutory requirements in Saudi Arabia.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex data into actionable safety improvements.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in risk assessment methodologies and hazard identification.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all organizational levels.
• Advanced proficiency in technical reporting and safety management software.
• Fluent in both written and spoken English and Arabic.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
