THE TEAM

As part of our In Villa Dining team, you will report to the In Room Dining Supervisor and serve as the primary communication link between guests and the dining operation. The team is dedicated to creating personalised, luxury dining experiences through exceptional service, attention to detail, and operational excellence.

YOUR ROLE

As Ordertaker, you will be the first point of contact for guests requesting In Villa Dining services. You will provide expert menu guidance, manage guest requests with accuracy and care, and contribute to creating memorable dining experiences through warm, personalised service and effective coordination with the wider Food & Beverage team.

HOW YOU’LL MAKE THE PLACE

• Deliver exceptional guest service through professional and engaging telephone interactions.
• Provide accurate menu recommendations, including dietary, allergen, and preference-based guidance.
• Drive revenue opportunities through effective suggestive selling and promotion of hotel dining experiences.
• Coordinate guest requests, special deliveries, and VIP requirements to ensure seamless service execution.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of In Villa Dining offerings, daily specials, and hotel promotions.
• Uphold Rosewood and LQA standards while ensuring compliance with departmental procedures and service expectations.

COULD THIS BE YOU?

• You have proven experience within Food & Beverage operations, guest service, order taking, or hospitality sales.
• You possess strong knowledge of food and beverage products and are confident recommending menu options to guests.
• You communicate clearly, professionally, and confidently in English.
• You are highly organised and able to manage multiple guest requests with accuracy and attention to detail.
• You are comfortable using point-of-sale systems and have sound numerical and administrative skills.
• You are passionate about luxury hospitality and creating exceptional guest experiences.
