Role Description The Landscape Designer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Jeddah. The Landscape Designer will develop landscape concepts and detailed designs for residential, commercial, and public projects, working closely with project managers, architects, and contractors. Daily tasks include preparing design drawings, planting plans, and hardscape layouts; selecting appropriate materials and plant species; and ensuring designs align with project requirements, climate conditions, and local regulations. The role also involves coordinating with site teams, reviewing work progress, making design adjustments as needed, and preparing presentations and documentation for clients and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Landscape Design and Landscaping for a variety of project types.
- Candidates should possess skills in Landscape Architecture and the integration of outdoor spaces with built environments.
- Candidates should possess skills in Hardscape design, including pathways, seating areas, and outdoor structures.
- Candidates should possess skills in creating Planting Plans, including plant selection suitable for local climate and site conditions.
- Relevant degree or diploma in Landscape Architecture, Landscape Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and basic graphic presentation tools.
- Strong spatial planning abilities, attention to detail, and understanding of irrigation and basic site engineering principles.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and site personnel.
- Experience in landscape projects in similar climatic regions and familiarity with local codes and standards is an advantage.
