About the Role

Mindrift Data Annotation Projects is seeking an English Chinese Bilingual Voice Recording AI Trainer for a part-time, project-based opportunity in Saudi Arabia. This role involves recording natural, mixed-language voice clips for an AI training platform, offering flexibility without fixed hours or long-term commitment.

Role Context

The primary objective of this position is to capture authentic speech patterns where English and Chinese are naturally blended, mirroring real-life conversation. Candidates will speak about everyday topics without scripts or predefined scenarios, contributing to the development of AI language models.

Responsibilities

• Record 1-2 minute voice clips in response to provided prompts or short videos.
• Speak naturally, incorporating both English and Chinese as would occur in daily conversation.
• Complete multiple clips per recording session.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Chinese, with the ability to naturally switch between languages.
• Experience: 0-1 year is required.
• Access to a recording device, such as a smartphone.
• A quiet recording environment free from background noise (*, music, TV, traffic, other voices).
• Ability to produce clear audio with the voice close to the microphone, ensuring no echo and only one speaker. A headset or earbuds with a microphone are recommended but not mandatory.

Compensation and Work Structure

This is a part-time, project-based position with flexible hours, allowing individuals to work according to their own schedule. Compensation is provided per approved recording, with potential earnings of up to $30 per hour, dependent on pace and approval rates.
