The Role of Sr. Oracle SCM Consultant

El Seif Engineering Contracting Company is seeking a Sr. Oracle SCM Consultant for a full-time position. This role involves working with the Oracle Fusion SCM Cloud ERP system, focusing on business requirement gathering, solution design, and system implementation across various SCM modules. The consultant will play a key role in project management and delivery, ensuring that business units effectively utilize the applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with the ERP System (Oracle Fusion SCM Cloud), including identifying gaps and understanding integration requirements.
• Gather business requirements by understanding business processes, mapping applications, and preparing proposed solution designs.
• Develop business re-engineering and modeling.
• Set up design solutions and configure system parameters.
• Manage and deliver SCM modules to business units through all project phases.
• Configure business applications such as Oracle Fusion Inventory (costing, receipt), Fusion Manufacturing (discrete and process), Maintenance Cloud, Fusion Self-Service Procurement, Procurement, Sourcing, Supplier Qualification, Supplier Portal, Procurement Contract, and Fusion Order Management (with POS experience).
• Provide Oracle methodology documents, including training guides, application setup, test scripts, and collect custom report requirements for the technical team.
• Identify gaps in SCM Fusion and collaborate with the development team to build solutions that meet business requirements.
• Work with Technical Developers to correct issues in application functionality.
• Identify and resolve project issues to facilitate project go-live status.
• Troubleshoot issues related to the use and functioning of applications.
• Work directly with the Oracle Financial Track Lead in the implementation of the ERP System.
• Collaborate closely with the IT department manager on IT project management and planning activities.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• 5-10 years of experience in a relevant field.
• Demonstrated experience in the development of Business Applications and System Integration.
• Experience with SCM advanced modules such as SCM Fusion Planning, Fusion Warehouse Management System (WMS), and Fusion Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) is an advantage.
• Ability to evaluate user proficiency, define training requirements, and conduct user training on business applications.
